Dear Coaches,
My name is Ayla Pitts. I am 18 years old and currently a senior at North Muskegon High School.
I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember – and although I play other sports as well, soccer has always been the one thing I cannot imagine not playing. I believe I have the desire, skill and mental strength it takes to help a college program be successful.
Soccer has allowed me to learn valuable skills over many years of playing, most importantly 1) to have a strong work ethic, 2) determination, 3) teamwork, and 4) perseverance. As a player elected team captain I have learned the importance of setting a high standard and expecting the best, while encouraging others around me.
I love the team aspect of the sport. I believe in giving 110% each shift on the field whether for 2 minutes or an entire game. If I had to describe myself in one sentence I would say “I am well rounded and fun, but push myself as hard as I possibly can to be successful each and every day – I want to be the best.” Hard work and determination has earned me All Conference, All Region, All District, All Academic Team, and All State (honorable Mention 2016, FIRST team 2017 & 2018) throughout my high school career to date.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. I hope to be able to answer any questions you might have.
Best,
Ayla Pitts
