Athletics have always played a huge role in becoming the person I am today. I began participating in soccer and any other sport I was allowed to play when I was three, because of this I have loved being apart of a team. That is what I believe has put me in a position to be successful both athletically and academically because I have a unique ability to easily work with others in order to achieve a common goal, whatever the circumstance may be. I have since watched friends go on and excel in collegiate sports which has driven me to want to do the same at the highest level possible. Although, academics do come first. By the end of high school I aspire to be somewhere at the top of my class. I have set myself up to be there by taking part in honors classes my freshman year and throughout the rest of high school I will be taking not only honors but also advanced placement classes. I believe this is setting me up to not only be prepared for but to flourish in college. Along with being an honors student, I am also a tri- Varsity sport athlete as well as a member of the marching and symphony band. Currently, I participate in Varsity swimming Varsity basketball, and Varsity soccer. I work year round to be the best student athlete I can be.
