Alexandra Williams '23 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember I have been playing soccer, and for even longer dreaming of one day playing in college.  Over the last decade soccer has offered me so many opportunities from seeing new parts of the country to connecting with players from around the world.  For me soccer is not just about the wins and the losses, but about the connections and the community that is built.  I work hard to support my teammates both in my actions, but also my words.  As a result of that support I've been honored to be named captain of Liverpool Michigan's 05 Girls Academy Team, I have made my high schools varsity soccer team,and also lead my team to a Super Y National Championship in 2020.  While soccer has come to play a dominant role in my life, I also try and take the lessons I've learned on the field to my other passions.  In the fall, I participate in varsity swimming and this past fall competed on a state qualifying relay.  Recently I've also been elected to Student Council, have served on class board, and enjoy music.  It is with all this in mind that I'm excited to move forward in my soccer career and continue to grow as an individual as well as a teammate.
