My name is Ava Briggs, my collegiate goals are to become an elementary teacher. I've always been goal oriented and set goals for myself to eventually achieve, whether it takes days or years I always try to reach them. I have been playing soccer since I was about 4 years old. To me soccer has been many things, for one it is a way for me to socialize with people that share the same passion for this sport. How I first got started playing soccer was all because of my two older brothers, they both have played for as long as I can remember and all I ever dreamed of was being big enough to play with them. My passion started to grow for the sport when my brother started working with me in the backyard to improve, this eventually became an everyday routine, even after he moved to college. What makes me different from other recruits is that my passion for soccer has only ever grown, there has never once been a time that I have wanted to quit. In academics I have always done well, and the same work ethic into my education to achieve my very best.
