My name is Isabella Robinson, but my friends and coaches call me Bella. I am an honor student at St. Catherine of Siena Academy. I am a midfielder who contributes most at the 8 or 10 position as an attacking center. Earning a position on a college team where I can continue to compete on the soccer field while earning an undergraduate degree that prepares me for graduate school is my ultimate goal. Academically, I work very hard and take my education seriously. I am consistently on the honor roll and currently have a 3.9 GPA first semester as a junior with AP coursework. I excel at language arts and earned the Edward Harkness Award for literature as a freshmen. I also earned honorable mention at the " Short on Words" writing contest summer 2019. I was honored to win the Alliance Catholic Scholarship for 2020. As an athlete, I believe that you must always do your personal best. Whether training, competing or helping someone on my team who is struggling in a class I always strive to give my best. I think when you stop making excuses you start finding solutions. I am never the largest girl on the field, but I hustle and I am physical and you will remember my number. I am a play maker and love the midfield where I can build and create opportunities. Coaches comments are that I am a technical player, elusive in the offense and able to get behind defenses for scoring opportunities. I led my varsity team in assists and was third in goals in my freshmen season. I was the only freshmen honored by being named to the All Catholic League Team. This meant so much to me because other coaches in our league recognized my play and character on the field. I returned as a varsity starter for my sophomore season spring 2020, which ended early due to Covid. I have put in extra time with individual training and am committed to making the best of a shortened competitive season. I am a leader on all my teams, whether it is soccer, basketball or in the classroom. I work hard to keep my team motivated and training hard. My coaches will tell you that I show up early and my team knows they can count on me. I won't stop pushing until the final whistle and if there is a lane I will find it!
