Being a starting freshman goalkeeper for the 4th largest populated school in the state of Minnesota was one of the highlights of my year. But, it really made me want to work harder and grow my effort, because of all the hard work it took to get to that point it showed me hard work really does pay off, that season taught me so much; the experience helped me grow into the unique person and athlete I am now and I can’t wait for the rest of my high school and club career to grow as the best person and an athlete I can be. Now it's my sophomore year (2020), this year was another amazing but interesting experience due to Covid but I and my team didn't let that stop us from working extremely hard we started the season strong with a 5-0-1 record but then we hit a little bump in the road had a few tough games but we built each other up and got stronger, we learned from our mistakes and we were back at it again and then got ourselves in the section finals with an amazing fight we ended up placing second in the hardest section in Minnesota.
I have been playing soccer since I was 3 I always loved scoring, so as I went on through my career I played forward until I was 11-12 I wondered what I would be like to be on the other side of the shots so I did just that and I absolutely loved it and from then on out I was a goalkeeper and wanted to work so hard and work on being an encouraging teammate to help lift up teammates when they need it the most and be as loud in the back as I can, so I can help my teammates on the field, I did this and I will keep doing this so I can be the best person and keeper for your team.
