My name is Natalie Zimlich. I have played soccer since I was four, starting small with my local youth camps and slowly building my skills and passion for the game. I've committed to club soccer since I was eight and developed my aspiration and goal to play college level when I was twelve. Soccer has been part of my life since almost the very beginning, and it's not just a sport to me but everything. What makes me a good candidate for college soccer; is my understanding of hard work and discipline on the field, and I can provide a sense of teamwork and dedication within the team. What makes me different from other recruits is when it comes to my character, I'm someone you can always rely on, and I will go out of my way to help whenever needed. Athletically I'm different with my stubborn nature on the field. As a defender, I will do everything I can to stop the ball from reaching the net, and help my teammate grow, to be successful on the field and off. Academically I'm different because of my willpower to get everything efficiently done while maintaining good grades. School is important to me as an athlete because it's something I will always need in the future, even after soccer, and it will help shape my future and myself as a person when I become an adult.
Thank you- Natalie Zimlich (class of 2024)
