Hello, my name is Brynley Theis. I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember and I have grown to love the sport. Along with that, I have played many other sports, such as gymnastics which has really helped with my mental toughness and helping me to learn how to do my flip throw-in for soccer. I plan on going to college someday to continue my soccer career. My goals throughout my college career are to always try my best no matter what the circumstances whether that's in my academics, sports, or in life itself. I also want to become the best version of myself, I want to learn more about myself as an individual and how I can help those around me. I not only want to better myself but I aspire to the best at everything I do. I am a very competitive person and I love a challenge. I am a very hard worker and I thrive off of constructive criticism. I hope to play soccer at a high level in college. I am a four-year letter winner and also made All Conference team all 4 years. I was also on the 2020 All-State team. I run track as well and was All Conference in sprints my Freshman and Junior year. Soccer is very important to me, and it will always hold a special place in my heart, but my academics are what are going to get me somewhere in life, and that is what I am focused on. I am also going to maintain a high GPA throughout my academic career. One thing I really look forward to in college though is becoming independent. Most people are scared to go and live on their own, but to be honest, I am very excited and I can't wait to learn how to become more independent. One of my favorite quotes is by Wayne Gretzky, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take". I love this because it is what I live by as a student and an athlete. I have very high expectations for myself and that can be a good thing and also a bad thing sometimes. But no matter what I am going to give it my all.
