Personal Statement

I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and I couldn't imagine life without it. I currently play for 2007 Boreal Premier top girls soccer team and play attacking midfield, winger, and striker. I also played in the Girls Academy league for a year before my team disbanded. I was able to take away a lot from my experience including the ability to stay calm under high pressure and find the pass that will benefit my team the most. I have played high school soccer since freshman year, making and starting Varsity every year.

Off the field I put a lot of my time into my academics and achieving good grades. I hope to find a college that will help me pursue my academic interests as well as offer high competition on the field. I hold a 4.057 GPA and I have gotten straight A's my whole life. My college major is undecided but I am interested in forensic science and health science.

On the field I feel my biggest strengths are my speed, my work ethic, my comfortability on the ball, and my vision of the field. I am never the biggest nor tallest on the field, but that doesn't stop me from being physical and constantly fighting for the ball. Despite the fact that I'm mainly an attacking player, I love to help my teammates out on defense, whether it's being an outlet for them to play to, or supporting them on defense when we are down a player. I will always be the player that will give everything the entire game and push till the very end.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
