I am confident, not cocky. I know what I bring and I know what I can be, if given the opportunity. I will outwork everyone on your team because I am willing to devote myself to reach my goals. I got cleared at 4.5 months from my most recent ACL. I researched and I worked in the weight room, and I came back in less than half the time it took to be cleared from my first ACL, in part thanks to some amazing people. I have been called by multiple peers and coaches, a sponge. Specifically a learning sponge. I soak up and retain knowledge in a way most people cannot. I truly think this was a big difference maker this time around. In being able to apply what I learned through my first recovery plus what I researched and changed this time was huge. Not only does this apply to my recovery, but in game as well. I have a much deeper understanding of the game than most players my age. My love for learning and my ability to retain and execute what I have learned has always been something that set me apart on the field. But you are only as strong as your weakest player. Another word referenced often when talking about me is glue. To truly understand something, you need to be able to explain it. I love to learn, but I am adamant about growing as an individual in order to grow the whole. I have always been able to connect with the people around me and bring them together, hence the glue. I tend to assume a captain role not because I want or need to be there, but just through being a connector, learning, comprehending, and helping others to understand as well. If there is one thing I can say about tearing my ACLs basically back to back, It's that my energy and love for the game got tested, but never broken. I proved to myself more than anyone else throughout this what it means to have an indomitable spirit and to never give up. I think that is what truly sets me aside. I would like to take soccer as far as I can, so I'm looking for a program and a coach that could help facilitate my goals! Flip side, my goal academically for college is to pursue a major towards medical or business. I would really like my program to be both academically and athletically driven! Thank you for reading!!
