Hi, my name is Emmery Schmidt and I am a junior from Kalispell, Montana. Being from Montana limits the overall opportunities for my sport. It has however, made me work harder, constantly having to do more and get creative to get where other girls my age are. This ensures the fact that I will work hard for whatever program I join in my college years. Not only do I work hard at my soccer abilities but I also put in the same effort in school as demonstrated by my GPA. I also like being involved and making friends along the way, soccer had allowed me to achieve both these goals in my community and I am forever grateful, this is a major reason for why I see myself playing in college as well. Throughout my club and high school career I have had a coach change at least every year, as a player this has allowed me to learn several different aspects of the sport I otherwise might not have. The constant adjustment was hard but I grew from it as a player. Playing in college is my last major athletic goal going forward and I cannot wait for the experience.
