Melene Nye '24 Recruiting Profile

I’ve always wanted to be successful and get to my full potential as a athlete and for my career. I believe furthering my education is very important and is one of my goals but soccer is also something I’m very passionate about. I believe a team is also a family that you connect with, and that is very important for a team to work well together. I am able to work as a team and in a team which is very important  on and off the field. I can easily work with anyone even if we have our disagreements. I am also very determined. If I don’t like how I’m doing in a sport or in my academics I am determined to fix it and get better rather than quit.  I feel like throughout my life going to school and being on sports team I have grown in academics and as an athlete. One of my goals for college is to continue to grow in all areas.
