Hi Coach, my name is Laney and I'm a 2026 grad from New Hampshire. I'm an only child and have grown up in a lakes region where we learn small-town values. I absolutely love soccer and competing and get excited thinking about playing at a high level in college. A few years ago, I was struggling with social interaction anxiety so my parents signed me up to play indoor soccer as well as an all-boys league. Three years later, I am still the only girl in the entire league and love it. I love that it's more aggressive, faster and has really pushed me as a player. I play club, high school and ODP and stay busy year-round as well as running track (javelin, high jump, 400m) and playing tennis. If I'm not on the field or court competing, I go to every event and cheer on my classmates. I'm the 9th grade Graduation Requirement Representative and help out with school activities whenever possible. When I'm not competing in a sport, I love water...boating, water-tubing, anything! You could also say I'm an animal whisperer. I love ice skating, watching Criminal Minds, and volunteering with UNIFIED. I plan to finish my referee course and hope to get into coaching youth soccer. My future career goal is to be a social worker, but I plan to play a lot more soccer in the meantime! Thanks for looking at my profile and I look forward to meeting you in the future.
