I am dedicated to learning new skills and always improving. I've always loved all sports and study games like some people study history or science. For me, I love the challenge of working to improve my skills in all different types of environments - games, training sessions, shooting sessions, strength and conditioning. I treat my body like a machine and work really hard to take good care of it. That means weekly strength and conditioning, getting plenty of rest and recovery and eating well. As I have grown up I have steadily developed a true passion for soccer. When I am on the soccer field, I am my happiest. I love to compete and my goal is to always put myself in a position to compete against the best competition. I'm motivated to improve, even if I have a great game; I'm always there asking my coach what I could have done better or what I should be working on improving.
As a outside back, I am working to be both a reliable 1-on-1 defensive player while also using my passing accuracy and ability to make well timed runs, to be an attacking wing back. My strengths in these roles are delivering the ball in the box to set up scoring opportunities and using my speed to shut down an attacking player in the defensive zone. As a center back, I am working on my distribution and positioning with and without the ball. My strengths as a center back are my vision of the field and my decision making.
I'm fortunate to have a great soccer coach, team and family that support my dream of playing college level soccer. I have high aspirations, but I match my aspirations with endless dedication, coachability and a love of understanding the entire game of soccer.
