Soccer has always been something I’ve been passionate about since the day I bought my first pair of cleats. Each season I grow and become more competitive to be the best I can be. Being acknowledged as a 2018 NEPSAC Junior All Star was definitely a highlight so far of my high school career. This experience helped me realize that hard work on and off the field really pays off. This has also helped me grow as an athlete and pushing my efforts on becoming a solid midfielder capable of playing at the college level. Sports have always played a massive part of life. Growing up I was fortunate enough to go to a private elementary and middle school, and onto a secondary high school. So I’ve been playing varsity sports almost my whole life, which has allowed me to not only grow academically but also athletically.
I think something that separates me from other players is my heart for the sport. I really do enjoy being the person who picks up each of my team members during a rough match. I could easily have a smile on my face before and after a game no matter the circumstances. Even if it involves losing a game because it only pushes me to be better than the next team and work harder at practice the following day. I also really do believe in to be the better player it doesn’t always means you need the best footwork but it means being able to work with anyone as a team and having that leadership role and respect. My goal and aspiration for my soccer career is to play at a college that respects and rewards hard work, responsibility, and integrity.
