Zayda Murphy '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2024 graduate from Clifton, NJ.  I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and I have always aspired to play at the collegiate level.   While I take great pride in my high academic achievements, it's the love of soccer that has given me the platform to be a strong leader on and off the field.  As a three-sport athlete, I understand the importance of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, time-management, and always being a good role model to inspire others.  

Growing up with a special needs sister has also shaped me in so many ways to become the person I am today.  Patience, understanding and determination are a few of my characteristics that have transferred into my athletic abilities.  

I'm looking for a college that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically.  My determination, work-ethic and leadership skills will make an immediate impact on any college program.  While I may not be the best technical player on the field, I will always be the one who gives 110%.
