My goals for the collegiate level are not only to play soccer but to achieve a Nursing degree. I strive to do my best in everything and have fun while doing so. I have been playing soccer since I was three and basketball since I was seven. Growing up I played multiple sports but soccer will always be my first love. Personally, I am a very competitive person not only in soccer but in school or even board games against my friends (I really hate to lose). Although I usually play center back for my club team, I enjoy playing outside back more, which is what I play for my high school team. During my freshman year, the coaches placed me as a forward because of my speed and athleticism. When one of my teammates was injured, we lost a defender. I explained to my coaches that I was able to take her place; I’ve been playing defense since. I have been told that I am a very outgoing person but when it comes to game day, I become very quiet and focused on getting the win. Going into Junior year, I know how important maintaining a solid GPA is & as of right now, I have a 3.6/4.0 gpa and I strive to raise it. During this time, I have not taken the SAT or ACT but I am preparing myself for test day as it is arriving soon. I do not have Facebook or Twitter but I do have instagram so another way to see a little part of me would be there. (My username: amiocca)
