Gianna D'Amato '20 Recruiting Profile

Athletics have always been a part of my life.  After enjoying and having success in a variety of different sports, I chose to pursue soccer as my main sport at a young age.  

I have spent most of my soccer career playing in the midfield.  My strengths lie in my skills, quickness, and field vision.  I have been told I make things happen on the field and that I am a decisive attacker.  As a teammate I am an encourager and I play/practice with the mindset of "Iron sharpens iron." (Proverbs 27:17) I strive to do my best in anything I do.  I thrive in team environments that demands focus, a high level of play, strong work ethic, and a "team before self" mindset.  I also run varsity track- my mile time is 5:31, and my 800 time is 2:21.   I have good speed endurance and I like constant movement on the field.      

I am my school's National Honor Society President, I take multiple AP classes, and I participate in many extracurriculars.  I have a 4.2/4.3 GPA. 

I am so blessed to be committed to Grove City College.  I chose Grove City because I love the school’s culture, its academic environment,  and how the college strives to prepare students well for future careers. Grove City has a great soccer program that I’m excited to be a part of!
