Hi, my name is Sanaa Walden, I will be entering my senior year at Washington Township High School in New Jersey. Since I was in elementary school, I’ve played on multiple soccer teams learning and adapting to the coaches playing style as well as using my own soccer IQ to help me on the field. I tend to lead and encourage others on the field when I feel they can play better. I’m a strong believer in not giving up even when my team is losing. In practices I go hard during every drill, raising the intensity while also having fun. I recently switched to defensive midfield but am comfortable playing any defensive or midfield position. I was recently told by a scouting coach that I position myself well off the ball, I move the ball well without a lot of extra touches, I played the passing lanes well, I have good vision, and play well with my left foot. I'm not scared to play someone 1v1 in the open field. I have a 3.7 gpa and am interested in studying Nursing in college.
