Isabella DeGiovanni '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isabella DeGiovanni. Most teammates and coaches call me Bella or Izzy. I've been playing soccer, since I was four years old. I fell in love with the goalkeeping position at a very young age and have worked hard year after year to excel at this position.  I work diligently to balance my academics and soccer career.  I play soccer all year long. I play in the  Fall for my high school varsity team, Winter Futsal along with additional training, and Spring and Summer club for my team PDA.
I am a motivating, enthusiastic, team player who leads the field or court from the back line.  My high school coach stated, that he had never in his 15 plus years had a freshman varsity keeper who could command, coach, and communicate with such positive energy.  I consistently work on perfecting my form and have embraced the role of being the additional defender when my team needs. I am a very hard-working athlete who strives to work hard everyday both off and on the pitch. I am passionate and eager to continue playing at an advanced level through my college years.
