Caitlin Sanchez '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caitlin Sanchez and I currently play goalkeeper for both AZ Arsenal (U-17G ECNL) and Rio Rapids SC (U-16G GA).  I am a sophomore at Eldorado Highschool and it is my dream to play collegiate soccer.  I have been playing since I was 6 years old and have fallen in love with the game and have a strong desire to compete at highest level possible.  

I am a goalkeeper who has the ability to play with both feet, read the game, while organizing the defense and maintaining communication. Also, I am a team leader who always tries to set a positive example for my teammates, on and off the field. I am a great encourager and try to offer positive motivation to my teammates as well.  My personality is very coachable, and I look to receive feedback in order to be a stronger player. On and off the field I make every effort to give 150% in order to achieve my goals.

I have been afforded the opportunity to play for AZ Arsenal as a Discovery Player in ECNL Southwest Region as well as Rio Rapids 07 Girls GA (primary team).  Not only has playing in an older age group helped my development as a goalkeeper/player but has also made me a stronger person mentally and physically.     

In the classroom, I study very hard and realize I must continue to work hard because I am a student-athlete. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the college that is the best fit for me, academically and athletically.  Above all else, I aspire to become a successful student, athlete, and role model to all around me.
