Growing up in a low-income area, it didn't allow me the exposure many other athletes receive. Many athletes that grow up without that type of exposure are always overlooked. Though I grew up in a low-income area, I have exceeded many set expectations people have of us. I worked my way up, spent countless hours at practice to further perfect my skills. As an athlete who is wanting to further their athletic career, I believe the most important aspect is to have exceptional leadership skills and listening skills. I believe I can be a very important ascent to your team and fellow teammates.
