Kennedy Herrera '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8' defender/midfielder from Las Cruces, New Mexico. I will graduate in the class of 2022. I have played  all 4 years of high school as a Varsity team starter. I am the currnet 1st Team All-District defender and Player of the Year in District.  I was 1^st Team All-District Defender and Honorable Mention All-State Defender in 2020, 1^st Team All District Defender and 2^nd Team All State Defender in 2019, and  2^nd Team All District Forward in 2018.

I am truly dedicated to this sport; I grew up in a soccer family and my brother plays professional soccer for MLS. I am interested in schools not too far from home and would love to go somewhere in Arizona. Financial assistance is very important for me and my parents as it is much needed, I would like to go to a bigger school, but smaller schools are an option as well. Ideally, I would want to go to a school where I could get plenty of playing time early in my career.
