Mikayla Shaughnessy '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was eight and as long as I can remember it has been my dream to play college ball.  I aspire to play college soccer, and I want to immediately compete for a starting position.  I am believe I am a good candidate for your team because I have a strong work ethic and I am very competitive.  I also care a lot about the improvement of my team. I focus on challenging myself and my teammates.  What makes me different from other recruits is my motivation to work hard and achieve whatever I set my mind to.  I focus on honoring God with my character by showing love to others and doing my best at everything. This factor of honoring God plays into my athletics and academics.  I do my best in both to give God the glory and honor. That motivates me to keep straight A's all the way through high school and stay focused in pursuing my long term goals in soccer and life.
