Joyce LaLonde '13 Recruiting Profile

Leadership, dedication, teamwork, and hardwork are all qualities I possess of a talented student athlete. As a third year varsity player, my junior year proved to be a season full of growth and development. Working with my trainer and coach, I have truly showcased that I will always strive for better, while listening and executing as they please. My speed and strength continue to improve, along with my touch on the ball. This summer I led the team in drills everday, such as running, sprints, footwork, etc. College is approaching, and although I have not fully decided, I am leaning towards a major in the Communications field (Public Relations, Broadcast Journalism, Communications). Simultaneously, I would prefer to be on the east coast. Being on the high honor roll with an average of 97.17/100, my scholastics are incredibly important to me. At  5'4", I have shined admist both boys and girls ranging in skill and age. My wish regarding soccer is to surpass all expectations and become the best player I am capable of. Since I learned to walk, my dedication to the sport has exceeded any other and to play in college could only further my development and love of the game.
