Ellie McMahon '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing club soccer with Syracuse Development Academy for 6 years and hope to continue to play at the collegiate level. I have been Captain of my 2008 GA team for the past 5 years. I pride myself with my strength, speed, keen understanding of the game, good technical skills, and strong leadership on and off the field. I am one of the most versatile players for my team, having the ability to play anywhere on the field. My main positions are central midfield and center back and I work strongly with my coaches on becoming more dynamic as a playmaker for my team. I have been known to play attacking midfield or striker if needed depending on our team’s tactics for each match.  I was honored to be selected as our team’s GA representative two years in a row.  I was selected to attend the Girls Academy Talent ID event in May 2023.  I am hardworking on and off the field and continue to work on my overall game.
