I am an extremely ambitious and outgoing girl from upstate New York. I play soccer, softball, and basketball at school, as well as club and ODP soccer. When I am not on the field you can find me skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking or camping with my family. In school, I am a member of the National Junior Honor Society and play in the school band, jazz band and marching band. I have also been in leading roles in our High School Musicals “Annie,” “Peter Pan,” and was recently “Charlie” in “Willy Wonka.”
I also love to travel with my family. Each year we go on a fun and educational summer adventure. By the time I get to college I will have been to all 50 states and at least 10 different countries.
My mom is a schoolteacher, and my dad works for the Army Corps of Engineers. My parents are also coaches, my dad even has his US Soccer national coaching license. I also have one sibling, a younger sister that is just as athletic and competitive as I am.
Being extremely coachable and trying to be one of the hardest working players on the field are two of my best qualities. I am very competitive on the field and a strong leader. I’m also a very positive teammate and love to have fun and laugh in the locker room. I want to push my teammates to be their best, and I love to celebrate their successes with them . My favorite part of playing is all the fun experiences and all the memories I make with my teammates.
I currently play on the New York State West ODP team (U13-2011). My home club is Honeoye Lake United Soccer Club where I play on the U13, U15 and U18 teams. I also play on the Honeoye Central School Mod A team. This year in ODP I was selected to compete in the North East Sub-Regional tournament in Albany. At that event I was selected to move on to the East Regional Tournament in New Jersey in June.
I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, I just turned 13. I do know that I want to continue playing soccer competitively, traveling, and making amazing memories with my teammates. Even though I’m only in 8th grade, my parents say it’s never too early to start searching for the right school.
