Maeve Steckley '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since age four, and every year I fall more in love with the game. I love the tactical precision, the one-on-one battles for possession, and most of all, the exhilaration when teamwork comes together seamlessly after endless trainings. As the level of competition has increased over the past few years, my passion for the game has grown stronger. I am a hardworking athlete and student; I play school lacrosse, soccer, and club soccer. I have a 3.9 GPA and I am involved in student leadership. I put 100% of myself into whatever I do, and I also work to inspire my peers and teammates to be their best. I lead by example, and my competitive spirit makes others want to succeed with me. In college, I want to major in a field that combines my interests in business and mathematics, but mostly, I am looking to maximize my potential so that I can be the best version of myself. Challenges don’t scare me, they motivate me, so I am more than excited for the next steps in soccer and in life.
