I am a 5’9” Center Defender from Raleigh, NC. I have a 4.2 GPA at Millbrook High School where I was a captain for the soccer team. For club soccer, I play for Wake FC on the 05 DPL team. I’m always looking to get better and learn everything I can about my position. I am competitive on the field and I believe the best teams contain a lot of players that share that same drive. Last year I played up a year for the 04 NPL team and we took some tough losses but I’m always able to refocus and prepare for the next game. To stay in shape during the off-season, I am on the swim team at school in the winter and at a pool over the summer.
I am very open with where I would be willing to commit, I would love to play at a DI or DII school, but I would not rule out an opportunity at a DIII level. Location isn’t a big deal for me, I would like to stay somewhat close to NC, but I do not mind leaving the state. Getting a college degree is extremely important to me, at this time I haven’t decided on a specific major but I feel I have some time to make that decision.
Thanks, Daphne
