I have recently re-located to Nova Scotia (July 2020) because my parents were transferred to Halifax. I have always wanted to compete at the highest level and I want to pursue education beyond high school. In my opinion the best place for me to achieve both of these goals is by playing at the university level. I am from a military family (both of my parents are military officers) so I have had to move often. I have lived and played in four provinces. One of my strengths is that I can adapt to different styles of play and coaching. Because of my fitness and technical skills I have always been able to play at the highest club or provincial level available to me. I have continually had to prove myself to new coaches and technical directors so I have had to learn to always work hard to earn a starting place on an established team. I have worked hard to be able to play with both feet and I think this has seperated me from other players. I have strived to be defensively strong in addition to my attacking skills. I have also learned how to be a good team mate and to fit in with players that have been together for a while.
I am looking for a coach that is a great communicator and that I am able to connect with. My favorite coaches have been serious about competing but also cared about their players' success on and off the pitch. Getting a degree that will help me to have success after soccer is just as important to me as developing and succeeding at soccer. Since joining the Canada Soccer REX program I have been training four days a week in addition to strength & conditioning training (twice a week) and playing with my club team. I have maintained my standing on the Honor Roll while training 5-6 days a week.
