Adelyn Canter '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Addy Canter, and soccer has always been a passion of mine that I've been playing since the age of 3!  The field is my absolute favorite place to be! I also value fitness, often at the gym or taking a scenic run outdoors. I am told that I'm very coachable, show a passion to learn, and catch on quickly. I try to lead by example and value feedback that helps me improve my game.

My preferred position is attacking center mid, but I also have experience playing striker and outside mid. My greatest strengths include foot skills, endurance, vision and passing abilities, as well as size that often works to my advantage. I play for Ohio Galaxies FC 04 Elite, and our team competes in the National League P.R.O. in addition to Club vs Club of the Great Lakes Conference. I also played up with our club's 03 Elite team in the 2019 USYS Midwest Regionals and with the 02 Elite team in the 2021 USYS Midwest Regionals.

Academically, I am a current Honors student at Beavercreek High School with a 4.5 GPA and a straight "A" student every year since grade school. I am considering a career in Engineering or Medicine, excited to continue my journey in college! I can't wait to see what comes next!
