Elayna Wadsworth '23 Recruiting Profile

     Hello! My name is Lanie Wadsworth. I play for Berkshire High School in Burton, Ohio, and Cleveland Select. I play year-round soccer on club and travel teams during the varsity off-season. I wish to continue playing soccer during my college years. I am interested in playing at any level as I truly love the game. My position is anything defensive, this new 2021 season I have been playing alot of attacking center mid though as well.  I am always willing to put in the extra work to improve myself.   I am a multi-sport athlete as a member of the girls' basketball team,  and was the kicker on the football team as well. As of now, I am interested in the field of sports management or environmental/marine science.

    My strengths on the field and on my team include being able to stay focused and calm during tough times, and always giving my all no matter how the game looks like it is going to turn out. I play extremely aggressively and I am able to keep the intensity of the game up when others begin to give up. I am a very coachable player and am eager to listen to coaches, and other teammates in order to improve my game. My in-game strengths include being able to connect passes, and the ability to win 50/50 balls, communication on the field is another of my strong points. I put my all into the game and will give anything to achieve my goals.
