Morgan Eakin '18 Recruiting Profile

I have two collegiate goals: graduate with honors with a degree in the medical field and play soccer at the collegiate level. These are lofty goals and I have the desire and passion that is required to accomplish these goals.  This same desire and passion has translated to the soccer field where I have worked my way from the local recreation league to club league and most recently to my High School's varsity team. My club coach and varsity coach have described me as hard working and versatile because I am the first one on the practice field and the last one to leave and I have the athletic ability and athletic intelligence to be successful at different positions.  In my Sophomore season my coach believed in my versatility enough to move me to the left center defensive back to replace a graduated and awarding winning Senior. We won our league that year for the fourth year in a row while allowing only 16 goals and scoring 102 goals.  In addition, I demonstrate leadership skills by helping the underclassmen and by leading the team in prayer prior to each game. I have a unique blend of athleticism, competitiveness, positive attitude and leadership skills that set me apart from most other players and will make me a valuable addition to your team.
