I have been playing soccer as long as I can remember, I was seven when I first started and have been playing ever since. While I started out as a midfielder I truly fell in love with the game when I started playing keeper in grade school. I was picked out as having a disposition for Goal keeper because of my background in competitive volleyball. Soccer quickly overshadowed volleyball as I reached Highschool and I fell more in love with the game and my position. My freshman year of high school I earned my position as the starting keeper of the Desale's Varsity team and have defended and continue to hold that position as I go through my Junior season. I hope to continue to play in college because of the team atmosphere soccer allows for and to continue having the best feeling in the world, walking of a field with your teammates exhausted but somehow having the energy to scream and celebrate because of a difficult win you have accomplished. I am dedicated on the field and off as evidenced by my academic record. I currently have one of the highest attainable GPA's at my school and have pushed myself to take mostly honors and AP courses throughout my high school career. I hope to one day study neurology and research medications for disorders to allow more people to enjoy life the way I do.
