Sarah Kauffman '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a leader on & off the field.  I was voted team captain by my teammates for the fall 2018 middle school season.  I have been involved in student council during my time in middle school.  Many of my teachers compliment me that I am a natural leader.

As a player, I have a desire to learn the game and make myself a better overall player.  I enjoy watching film and finding way to improve my performance, as well as my team.  My primary position is forward or outside midfielder.  During my spring 2019 club season, our defense suffered several injuries and I volunteered to play outside back.  As the season progressed, I became a starter at that position even after the original starters returned from their injuries.

I am kind, friendly and funny.  I have an ability to make friends easily.  My parents comment that I always have a new friend by end of the first day of any camp or vacation.  I am often paired with new or prospective students that may be visiting our school.
