To start, I think this comment from my former coach who is also an area scout sums me up pretty well
Allie is a player that is capable of playing multiple positions on the field. Athletic and brings toughness and heart to every training session and match. Will never back down from a challenge whether it's going up for ball on a corner kick, challenging for a 50/50, attacking the goal with a goalkeeper closing down on her, or shutting down an opposing striker, she just plays with a lot guts. Reads the field well in closing down space defensively and playing the ball into space or hitting her targets with her passing ability. She is a very positive person that is encouraging to her teammates, welcoming to all and generally has a smile on her face. Is a dedicated player that gives the majority of her free time to bettering herself at this game. Has a very supportive family that help her strive to be her best. Now for an update, I recently recently started to play with one of the most competitive teams in the country, because it was important to me to continue to get better as a player. My CFC 02 team has consistently ranked in the top 25 nationally. One of the reason made the move is because the team never stops trying to improve especially when it comes to our coach's passion for improving our technical ability to be the best college soccer players we be. While i was a standout and defensive leader on my former team and we were able to achieve a lot as a team, it was important to take it to the next level to get to the next level.
And while i have a lot to be proud of, whether it was winning a state title as freshman, or trophies in club, this year was a real learning experience. i was injured but did not realize that i had torn my labrum until several months later. It was a gift in some way to have my dreams put in doubt and possibly taken away from me, that really made me realize how important this game is to me, and how important it is to me to be playing at the next level and growing with my college team
The opportunity to play college soccer at the highest level is a goal of mine and I understand what is required. Having the opportunity to be considered is something for which I am truly grateful Playing college or playing for a high level club is something that many girls from my travel program in Cleveland Heights never had the opportunity to dofor money reasons. It's my hope to leave your program after four years as a better person and player than I was when I walked in your door, and to do the same for the program and the school .
