Soccer has been a passion of mine since the moment I started playing. By the time I reached middle school, I had decided that I was going to put as much effort into the sport as I could with hopes of playing in college someday. I think one of my best qualities is my work ethic. I put many hours daily during the off season into improving my skills and I always try to do my best at practices. I think that coaches would say I’m very coachable and hard working. My desire to become faster and stronger in soccer led me to also find joy in participating in track. Although these two sports keep me very busy, when I do find free time, I enjoy playing flute in the band, spending time with friends and family, and making arts and crafts. My faith has also been an important part of my life. Although my love for soccer is great, it can’t compare with my love for God. He has helped me through many struggles, including ones that I’ve faced within my sports life. I believe that my ability to overcome obstacles and stay motivated in sports has everything to do with my faith. I look forward to my continued growth and development as a player in the years to come.
