Jordan Chandler '24 Recruiting Profile

Soccer is my life.  I am a very determined player, never giving up even when a game seems hopeless.  I know that I can influence others and if I give up, the team will too. Keeping my teammates in a positive mindset, even if the score seems against us, is key. This mindset has proven its value when we have been able to come back to win against all odds. 

Part of what has instilled that mindset is that I have come from nothing. My family has limited money and my mom used what money she could to get me on the best club team she could afford. Don't let the small club fool you though. My team plays in one of the highest divisions of the state and won the Governor's Cup U17/18 Championship this year. I train whenever I can and I train hard. Even when I am tired, I don't stop. I take a break and then get back to it.  You'll never master something if you give up every time you meet adversity. 

I am very devoted to not only soccer, but also to my education. Even though soccer and band keep me busy, I still have never let my grades slip because my education is a priority. I am a straight-A student and have a weighted GPA of 4.9. 

If you take a chance on me I promise to devote my time and energy to improving and being the best player I can be. Letting my team down because I didn't take the time to get better is not an option. I know I'm just a girl from a small club in Cincinnati Ohio, but I promise if you look a little closer, you will see that I am way more than that.
