Hello Coaches! My name is Gianna, but everyone calls me G on the pitch. I would love to play soccer at the college level. My love of sports is something I want to pursue in college, both athletically and academically. I am leaning toward majoring in Sports Management. I think I am good candidate for your team for several reasons. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. I have played club soccer since I was seven years old. I have been on three club teams and currently I am on an ECNL team. In addition to club soccer, I am also a starting varsity player on my high school soccer team. I train year-round and have a private foot skills coach as well. I LOVE the game. I can play defensive mid and anywhere in the back. I am very quick, have good field awareness, and can direct teammates on plays/runs. There is nothing I like better than earning a W with my teammates!
I also run track for my high school. This keeps me in great shape for soccer. I am lucky to have a track coach who knows soccer comes first and works with my soccer schedule. My teammates and I got 1st Team for the 4x200 and 4x100 meter relays in 2022. I was a member of the state champion 4x400 meter relay team in 2021 also, wow was that an amazing moment!
Outside of sports I like to spend time with my family, friends and dogs. I like all things art and crafts. I have recently taken an interest in American Sign Language. I'm excited to see what the next couple years leading up to college has in store for me.
