My name is Alison Rothmann and I am a senior at Westerville North HS. I have played varsity soccer all 4 yrs being a starter since sophomore year and a team captain since junior year. I didn’t start playing soccer until I was 8 yrs old and didn’t really get into competitive soccer until I was 10. As I continued to grow in age, size and skill soccer was something that was always there until it wasn’t when COVID happened. What was supposed to be the best summer of my life starting the recruiting process in 2020, turned out to be one of the most stressful because I didn’t know if I would get soccer and basketball back. It wasn’t until I lost soccer that I realized how much I wanted it in my life. Luckily I got to play last fall, and played my spring 2021 club season, in which I had my best season leading the team in total goals and assists contributing on over half of total goals scored. I was a full time starter at outside mid and frequently dropped back to center back to close out games. I am looking for a school that can utilize my versatility of speed, defense, offensive skills and tactile knowledge that has allowed me to play and master many positions on the field. I am interested in a degree/career in pharmacy at this time but open to learning about other degrees/careers that would be a good fit for me. I love to compete and win, and can’t wait for the opportunity to play in college.
