My name is Viktoria Koskovich, but everyone calls me Tiki. My dad introduced me to soccer, and coached me from age 4 to 15. I began to ref, train, and coach at age 12. Within the last six years, I have transitioned to primarily being a goalkeeper. However, my coaches know they can move me to any position necessary during a game. I am very aggressive, and will not back down from a good challenge. As a goalie, I consistently communicate and direct my team during the game. In numerous games, I have been chosen as captain and voted MVP. I have always been a starter from the time I began the sport. I have outstanding accuracy with punts, crosses, and shots. I also have excellent foot skills. I actually earn an income teaching these skills and techniques to youth players in my local area. I've helped my town's local soccer club and high school create, organize, and manage events such as camps, tournaments, and fundraisers. I enjoy helping my community, while teaching others to learn about the game of soccer.
I started as the JV goalie my freshman year. My sophomore year, I tore my ACL and Meniscus during a soccer game, and had surgery at the end of march. Unfortunately, I missed my entire sophomore high school season, which is why there are no videos or stats on my profile from that period. After a quick and successful recovery of only three and a half months, I returned to the sport. My senior year of high school, I endured a stress fractured with my back. I was released in time to play some of the season, but then suffered another ACL tear, on my other leg. I am now, however, fully recovered and ready to play.
I think I have a lot to offer, and I will strive to make an impact on and off the field. I will do my best to lead my team and take responsibility for my mistakes. As of right now, I am undecided in my major. I am currently attending Johnson University in Kissimmee, FL but in light of recent and unfortunate events, our season was canceled. I am currently searching for another college in hopes of pursuing my soccer career. I've proven my dedication by continuously coming back from injuries, surgeries, and other minor setbacks; not to mention moving from Oklahoma to Florida (with no family or friends) just to have the University cancel our season. I just want to play soccer. Do you believe me? Then give me a chance.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
