My coach always states "It's called the GAME of soccer. It's meant to be fun." That is how I play... to have fun. Fun to me playing soccer is playing it at the highest level of competition I can. I give 100% effort on the field, and expect my teammates to do likewise, win or lose.
Throughout all stages of my soccer career, from Timbits to my current OPDL team, the first word any of my coaches would use to describe me is "coachable". I may not be the most gifted at technical drills, but I listen to instructions and work hard to continually improve my performance on the field. My father tells me to "play confident, not cocky."
Academically I am not sure yet what I want to continue studying for after high school, and this will play a major role in which university i wish to attend. My grades are like my game. They don't come easy, but I strive to do my best and work hard to get the results I have, which so far are in the mid-90s (A+).
Right now I am curious what my options might be moving forward, and where I fit in with the whole recruiting experience, but in the end, whatever happens, happens, as long as I still enjoy playing the GAME of soccer.
