My name is Mya Van Haaster. I am a center mid, but I have the versatility to play all field positions. My biggest strengths are being able to read the field very well and create plays. I am looking forward to playing at the university level and becoming a better player and person. I have been playing soccer since I was three years old and recently had an amazing learning experience. Last November I got the opportunity to train with the PSG girls academy in France. The playing style was very intense there. We trained every day early in the morning. I learned to play faster, be more aggressive, and it helped me to work on my footwork as well. I also learned a little bit of french too, the coaches didn't speak any English. The experience helped me to become a better player and made me realize that I can easily adjust to different playing styles. I am excited to play in a different environment and create a new soccer family.
