I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. Growing up with parents who own their own soccer academy is how my love for the game was first developed. I was constantly in the soccer environment and begged to be there whenever I wasn't. Since the age of 10, after I trained with the Elite U14 girls for an entire year, I have been playing 2-6 years up. The max ages I played up with boys and girls was 6 and for soccer the max age was 3 years. In my early years I was an alternate for the competitive teams a year above me as well.
In 2019, I suffered a major concussion during a game and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Sitting in the dark not being able to watch or play soccer hurt tremendously but I didn't let it stop me. I achieved every goal academically and athletically, plus more, that I set that year after I recovered. One of them was attending the Ontario 2020 Winter Games and not only did I attend, I was also my teams leading scorer and was a key player.
Not only does my vision, awareness leadership and organisation make me a good player but, my passion for the game is what truly makes me stand out as a player and academically. When I am on the field my team plays better. I believe that my passion truly drives myself and my team to be the best version of ourselves. I am also a very coach-able player that takes criticism both academically and athletically well. I have been a coach myself for the past 4 years and I am working on getting my Provincial C license in Ontario as of now. Soccer has always been a huge part of my life and I would like to pursue my academic and athletic career in college.
