I am a gritty and tenacious 5’5” Defender from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I currently play in the Ontario Player Development League for Cambridge United Girls U17 where I have been a starter since joining in 2019.
In March 2022 I was selected to participate in our provincial development initiative, The Xcel Program, and to compete for a spot on the Ontario U18 Women’s team as one of the 77 of the best U18 players in Ontario.
Outside of soccer, I am also a member of my school’s varsity cross country and swimming teams. I have a 4.0 GPA and am also a member of my school’s Student Broadcast Team.
I started organized soccer at age six simply for the love of the game. As I got older and progressed to more competitive teams I continued to love the game but also began to realize the benefits of training hard and seeking to improve. I was very fortunate to have the same coach for several years with whom I discovered the satisfaction of ongoing training and development at an elite level. My drive and love for soccer make it the thing at which I want to excel - to perfect my game and perform at the highest levels possible. Whether it was training to be a true two-footed player, getting call-ups from both a year older girl’s team and a boy’s team of the same age, or putting in the extra work in my basement improving my fitness and skill throughout the entirety of the pandemic, I have always pushed myself to improve. High school was a huge transition for me coming from an independent school of roughly 100 students and no sports programs to a high school of over 1,000 students and multiple sports programs. My soccer experience helped me to feel confident in my abilities and face new academic challenges, earning me a spot on the honour roll while participating in two sports new to me.
My positive attitude and commitment to always improve make me a student-athlete who leads by example and inspires teammates to perform at the top of their games. I am a high-impact player who always brings her A-game, striving to be a positive influence on those around me.
