About me and soccer…
Soccer has been a passion of mine since I was about 3 years old. My physical strength allows me to create opportunities for my team in both offensive and defensive plays. I am fierce with a team-oriented attitude and versatility that contributes to my ability to play in multiple positions to get the job done. Giving 100% effort in everything I do, on and off the field, elevates my level of play and inspires others. I am dedicated to continuing to develop my technical skills and to maintain balance in my foot dominance. The skill I have with both my left and right has translated into great ball possession and goals. Gifted in seeing the big picture, I look to produce the best situations for my team to strike and succeed on the entire field. My tenacity supports me in taking on defenders more aggressively as I make good runs to break the lines. This combined with my great shielding skills to keep possession and quick passes to help my team work together as a unit all the way up the field. I am always eager to learn new techniques and systems, and I look forward to playing strong opponents that push me to improve my performance. I have an immense respect for my coaches and game officials that make this sport a safe place for me to grow. Overall, playing and training for soccer is a way of life for me that brings me a lot of joy.
Other interests…
I have been a multi-sport athlete my whole life which has given me unique skills and experiences to apply to my game. As an elite acro, jazz and hip-hop dancer until the age of 13, I gained incredible coordination, strength, flexibility, and a critical sense of personal discipline. As a high-level competitive hockey player until the age of 15, agility, quick thinking, and team cohesion were a must. Fully committed to soccer as my primary sport now, I still make time to dedicate myself academically and find time to enjoy recreational activities such as painting, listening to music, swimming, and hiking. I am fully bilingual with a love for science and math as well as an interest in criminology. Some activities that I find very fulfilling and truly enjoyable include coaching young athletes, without a doubt eating good food, and being a bit comical to make people laughs. But what rises to the top is soccer, and of course SOCCER, and Oh! did I forget to mention … SOCCER!
