Selmika Buzali '22 Recruiting Profile

   Hello! My name is Selmika Buzali and I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I am a 5'4 offensive and defensive midfielder part of the class of 2022. For as long as I can remember, playing university soccer has been a dream of mine and one that I have consistently worked towards on and off the pitch.

   I am a goal-oriented and hard-working individual, who always puts 100% effort into every task and to achieve every goal. I am a team player and exhibit great sportsmanship; I understand and realize the importance of working with others not only to achieve my own goals but the goals of the team. On the pitch, I am vocal, versatile, a quick decision-maker, and have a high game intelligence. My work ethic on and off the field is incomparable; I am focused, motivated, and strive to be the best. This is applied and evident in a school environment as well. I have been able to maintain a 3.9-4.0 GPA in my high school career so far, having taken academic and AP level classes throughout. I will continue to work hard and continue to excel academically in my grade 12 year. I am an active learner both in school and out, and am constantly looking for ways to improve and grow. 

   My character, attitude, qualities, strengths, and determination make me a unique player and a key component on the field. Those things in addition to my passion and love for the game make me a great candidate!
