Hello, my name is Cheyenne Bower and I am a 2022 graduate. I live in London, Ontario. I am in grade 11 and am currently in the French Immersion program at Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School. After high school, I would like to attend university playing soccer and studying to pursue a career in aviation or sports medicine. I started playing soccer when I was just 4 years old and immediately fell in love with the game. I started in house league then moved to a competitive team. I then played a year in OPDL, and now I am playing for a League One Reserve team.
I play for the FC London League One Reserve team. I can play many positions but am best at attacking mid. I can also play holding mid, outside mid and wide striker. I am a player that my coaches can always count on in intense situations and they know that I will do anything to win. Some of my strongest skills are 1v1s and distribution. When I get the ball for 1v1s sometimes it seems as if everything is moving in slow motion except for me, I am able to make decisions and see what needs to be done to get the ball to the back of the opposing teams net. When I am on the field, my team plays better. I work hard in practice and in games. When I am not doing something right, I figure out how to fix it and make myself better for next time. When I am put on the bench for a game, I work extra hard in training to ensure that for the next game I am on the field.
I love going to school, I look forward to it everyday. I have a 4.0 GPA and have received honors for the past 3 years. At school, I am apart of the Student Athletic Association (SAA). We organize sports events and raise money for our schools athletic department, but most of all we spread school spirit.
I am open to playing in any division, but I believe that a D1 school or a D2 school would best suit me. It has always been a dream of mine to be playing at the highest level of soccer I can in university.
