Nicholle Francis '24 Recruiting Profile

Since playing soccer from the age of four, it’s been great not only to see myself grow as a soccer player but, also as a person. Soccer has taught me how to control my thoughts and emotions under pressure, perseverance, leadership, and making fast decisions. I could never imagine my life without soccer, not because I’ve done it all of my life but because it brings me happiness. Knowing that I can express myself and will always have a family standing behind me, not just on the pitch but in life, is one of the best feelings in the world. I have realized that I will do whatever it takes to continue playing soccer for as long as possible.

To be able to play soccer in university, would be the best first step into the next stage of my life. Academics are extremely important to me. My plan by the end of my four years is, to complete an undergraduate degree in biology or behavioral sciences. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my academic and athletic career!
