From the age of 12, I knew I wanted to play soccer at university. From my 14 years of playing the sport, my passion has only grown. Soccer has been a huge part of my life and has helped me maintain my health and my grades. I have played at numerous levels of competitiveness and am currently playing at the highest level for my age group in Ontario, the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL). Being able to play with a team of dedicated athletes not only helps me on the pitch but also as a person. I am a natural leader and am driven by passion. I do a job and a half on the pitch, there is rarely a game where my voice isn't heard across the field, and I help my teammates when mistakes are made whether it be to gain back possession or to encourage them to stay positive. During my 5 year OPDL experience, I have been coached by over 5 different coaches. This has allowed me to gain not only experience from different coaching styles, but also improve my coachability. I have developed immensely over the past 5 years and am ready for the next chapter of my soccer path.
